1st Day – Cairo
Arrival at Cairo airport, meets, assist and transfer to Hotel.
Dinner and overnight.
2nd Day – Cairo
Breakfast at hotel.
Full day tour including the Egyptian Museum & Pyramids.
Dinner and overnight.
3rd Day – Cairo / Luxor
After breakfast, we will visit one of the oldest Christian churches in the world; the Coptic Hanging church, built in the fifth century over the southern gate of fort of Babylon, the basilica style church of it is rich in antiquities from the early Christian era. Then will visit the Citadel and one of the most beautiful mosques in the world Mohamed Ali Mosque situated on the northern heights of the citadel where it can be seen from every part of Cairo, its construction began in 1830 A.D. From the courtyard, one may view the capital, the Nile, and in the far horizon the Pyramids. The day ends with a visit to the Khan El Khalili Bazaars that date back to 1382.
Evening, transfer to train station to travel to Luxor. Dinner and overnight on board.
4th Day – Luxor
Breakfast on board.
Upon arrival to Luxor station, our representative will meet & assist you.
Visit the West Bank Valley of the Kings, Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, and Colossi of Memnon.
Dinner and overnight at hotel.
5th Day – Luxor / Cairo
Breakfast at Hotel.
Visit the Karnak and Luxor Temples.
Then transfer to station back to Cairo by deluxe sleeper train.
Dinner and overnight on board.
6th Day – Cairo / St. Catherine
Breakfast on board. Arrival to Giza station,
We will drive through the desert and under the Suez Canal, stopping at Moses bitter springs of Mara, to arrive at St. Catharines at the foot of the majestic Mount Sinai where Moses received the Ten Commandments. Here we will have supper and an overnight stay at St. Catharines.
7th Day – Climbing Mount Sinai & Jordan
If you wish, you may climb Mount Sinai where Moses received the Ten Commandments to see the glory of this holy place at sunrise. Time permitting; we will visit St. Catherine’s Monastery. After tour, we will drive to Nuweiba to cross the Red Sea by ferry boat to Jordan.
